Elizabeth Broden Arciprete, Ph.D., RN, CCRN, CHPPN, is an Assistant Professor at the Connell School of Nursing. Dr. Broden Arciprete completed her doctoral studies at the University of Pennsylvania and post doctoral fellowships at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Yale University. Her research leverages qualitative and mixed methods to amplify the voices of seriously ill children and their families.聽She holds certifications in pediatric critical care and pediatric palliative care nursing and has 8 years of PICU nursing experience. Following her PhD training at the University of Pennsylvania as a Hillman Scholar in Nursing Innovation, she completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care. Dr. Broden pursued additional fellowship training as a National Clinician Scholar to harness community-partnered and policy-oriented research methods to spark systems-level changes. Dr. Broden鈥檚 research mission is to address suffering among聽children and families navigating life threatening conditions by building and testing nurse-led approaches through family-partnered research.
